Described as Zambia's inaugural solar facility equipped with battery storage, the project holds an estimated value of $65 million. It is slated to commence commercial operations by September 2025, aiming to supply electricity to a minimum of 65,000 households. It will be located alongside the existing 500 MW Ibri II solar project, which was inaugurated in January 2022 after a 13-month construction.
