Lieferant von haitianischer energie
Haiti relies on a mix of imported oil and domestic biofuels such as wood and sugar cane for its total energy supply. [1][2] As of 2020, more than 90% of electrical generation in Haiti was derived from fossil fuels and less than 10% from renewables. Total energy supply (TES) includes all the energy produced in or imported to a country, minus that which is exported or stored. Some of these energy sources are used directly while most are transformed into fuels or. Haiti faces significant challenges in generating and distributing energy reliably, and lack of access to affordable and reliable power significantly hinders investment and business development. Energy use refers to use of primary energy before transformation to other end-use fuels, which is equal to indigenous production plus imports and stock changes, minus exports and fuels supplied to ships and aircraft engaged in international transport.
